Love is the Strongest Energy in our World

maslow Perhaps it’s because love and relationships comes up frequently in my therapy and counseling sessions with adults. Perhaps it’s because I’m an astrologer trying to understand cycles and patterns of human behavior. Perhaps it’s because I’m very spiritual. Perhaps because we all have a basic human need for a sense of belonging and love according to Maslow’s hierarchy of basic needs. Perhaps it’s because I’m a retired teacher. The reasons really do not matter.

What matters is during my years of researching energy and its effect on people, I concluded that Love is the strongest energy in the world. More importantly to many of you is that a mother’s love for her child has to be the supreme energy bond. Second to that is the love a child has for its mother, no matter what the circumstances. I have been amazed over the years that adult children I personally know extremely well, seek out their mother’s love. Yet their mothers were physically, emotionally and mentally abusive the entire lifetime of the grown children. Many people whom I companion in therapy are dealing with inner childhood issues. So that is what started me on my research to understand love in all its dimensions.

One of my heroes is Leo Buscaglia. He was the first in our living generation to have university classes on Love. Love 101 and the book that he wrote titled Love certainly influenced my life for the better. Another book by Leo Buscaglia’stitled Loving Each Other coincidentally came into my life after a marriage break-up. I spent a year being depressed about failing in the love department. These two books helped me to reframe my experiences. They also helped me to understand that Love is a journey that can be a short trip, or it can be a longer trip, depending on the roadmap. However, the most important thing I learned was that I could influence love in my life in a very profound way. I consciously chose to bring more love energy into my life.

Now you ask, why am I sharing this information? I believe that being a parent is the most important job in the world. I also believe that being a parent should be a very spiritual experience. I truly believe that to raise global consciousness, we have to raise our love index within our own families. If we are ever going to have peace in this world it will be through the strong bonds of a mother’s or father’s love for their children. Mother will influence the kids to be peace makers instead of fighters. That’s what will change this earth energy.
